Billy Uppard

TEAM RIDER

We met Billy a couple of years back when he came to Val d'Isere to do an instructor course, the very one founders Joe and Jamie were working at the time. From only having done a weeks riding before he came out, he is now ripping and has taken his riding to such a different level in just 2 seasons! 

Below is a short bio from him.

My name is Billy uppard I'm 19 years old! I started snowboarding when I was 16 on a family holiday! I only did 1 week of boarding, but knew it was what I wanted to do. So then proceeded to take my BASI level 1 and 2 instructors exams in Val d'isere! 

Having passed this qualification in the first season, I then did a second season in Val d'Isere working as a waiter in a hotel to keep my boarding hours up!

While snowboarding as much as I can, I was then approached by a GB coach to come and trial for the England team! After several trials, I made it in and then have come out to Austria to train for the next winter months!
