Jamie Beaumont
CO-FOUNDER
Jamie Beaumont is a graduate of the University of Exeter having studied Business and French. A degree which he undertook after he had embarked on his first season in Courchevel where he spent half the year working as a hotel host in an up market hotel. It was at this point that he realised that skiing was moving in the wrong direction, with a prejudice against the average person with a smaller pay check. After completing his degree, he got a job in the city (that he truly hated). After attending a holiday in Val d’Isere with a university friend, Jamie decided to quit his job and stay out in the mountains, with a view of getting a mountain job and staying for the entirety of the winter season.
After achieving success with his employment, this was where he first met Joe. The following year in Val d’Isere was spent working directly side by side with Joe as the other resort manager for a ski instructor school. This is where the ‘retro gap’ was noticed, and a real intent was shown to endeavour into the clothing market as a new and affordable brand.
